The Ubuntu Philosophy Foundation (UPF) was created to contribute to building a world of empathy, peace, shared human dignity, shared prosperity, mutual responsibility and communal justice in Africa and throughout the world.
The Foundation seeks to position Ubuntu as a multifaceted paradigm through which to discuss governance, economics, reparatory justice, corporate social responsibility, education reform, Pan-Africanism, international justice, international development, public diplomacy and information technology in the digital age.
UPF also promotes people-centered and people-led development. It develops human beings and leaders and seeks to equip them with moral capital so they can see themselves and others as the change they seek in the world.

The Ubuntu Philosophy Foundation seeks to produce actionable knowledge, programs and deliverables that bridge social divides, elevate human dignity and support community-led development worldwide, especially in Africa. It fosters global harmony and social cohesion by promoting interconnectedness, empathy, sharing, consensus and collective responsibility.
